We've harvested 55 lbs of roma tomatoes this year, not bad considering they were grown outside and I didn't trellis, prune or boost them all summer (yep you read that right, but that's for another post). We had a few days of rain and thunderstorms; I love not having to water the garden. There are many more pumpkins growing on the vines, here's hoping they ripen up in time. This time of the year, with all the changes in the weather and the transition into fall, things can be a hit or miss. We our growing our first fall/winter garden this year though, you can read more about that here.
I wanted to get lots of vegetable close ups for this post, as that I love seeing their up close beauty. Enjoy!
